The Anti-Bias Coalition of Delray Beach

Our Mission
The Anti-Bias Coalition (ABC) promotes social justice and human understanding in our diverse Delray Beach community in collaboration with partners, including law enforcement, legal, educational, religious, business, governmental, and non-profit organizations. We are committed to the creation of a community where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
We Stand Together
Thank you to Rev. Paul J. Kane, Rector, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, for this message representing the Anti Bias Coalition of Delray Beach:
We, the members of the Anti-Bias Coalition of Delray Beach, Florida, stand together in heartbreak and outrage over the recent murders of a Jewish couple in Washington, D.C and the attack with an incendiary device on other Jewish people in Colorado. These acts of violence are not isolated tragedies—they are painful reminders of the enduring threat of antisemitism in our nation.
We condemn these murders and attacks unequivocally and mourn the lives lost and injured to this senseless hate. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and communities grieving during this time of unimaginable sorrow.
Delray Beach is a city rooted in diversity, resilience, and unity. We reaffirm our commitment to confronting antisemitism, bigotry, and violence in all their forms. As an interfaith, intercultural coalition, we pledge to continue working alongside our Jewish neighbors and all marginalized communities to build a city—and a country—where everyone is safe, respected, and free to live without fear.
Hate has no home here. We call on civic leaders, faith communities, and every resident to speak out, show up, and stand firm against antisemitism and all forms of hatred.
May memory be a blessing—and may justice and peace prevail.

Who We Are
We are dedicated to being a healing force in our community, supporting victims of hate crimes and incidents. We focus on education of ourselves and of our community in ways that raise awareness of our own biases and increase our sensitivity to the ways in which bias adversely impacts all members of our community.
